MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR


Hello, my name is Andrew Valente and I am the Chair of the All Souls School Advisory Board. The Board is responsible for policy review and recommendation, in consultation with the Principal and Pastor.

There are 4 Committees of the Board

· Finance

· Communications

· Mission Effectiveness

· Facilities

Each of these committees has responsibilities that you will learn more about in the near future (most likely the next Home and School meeting, if not before). As the new Chair of the Board my main goal is to increase communications between the School and parents. This announcement is the first step in that process. In the past Fr. Trout and Principal Doyle selected the members of the Board. We are now inviting everyone that is interested to apply to the Board when there are openings, as there are now. The Board and Principal Doyle will make recommendations to Fr. Trout who will make the final selection.

At this time we have positions open and are in need of persons with a strong background in business and finance, computer technology and/or communications and public relations.

To be considered please send an email to board@allsoulscatholicschool.org. Those emails will be forwarded to Principal Doyle and me. Please tell us a little about yourself and how you can contribute to the success of All Souls School. Please also note that we are interested in having member(s) with children in the Early Childhood Center, so don’t think that just because you have not been involved with the school for long that we are not interested in the talents you might have.

Finally, there will be other subcommittee activities that will need volunteer help, so if you are not selected please know that there will be plenty of opportunities to participate.
