BAND

Band has returned to All Souls! The beginning band at All Souls is 22 members strong, with flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, and percussion. The beginning band is currently open to students in grades 4 and 5, with opportunities for older students as well.  There is no fee to participate in the band, but students need to provide their own instruments. Instruments are available to rent through Allegro Music, at a minimal monthly cost.  Parents who would like more information about the Band program are encouraged to contact Mr Brad Hudson, ASCS Band and Music Instructor, at bhudson@allsoulscatholicschool.org. NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

2010-2011 NJHS List

The purpose All Souls National Junior Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate interest in community service, promote leadership, develop character and encourage good citizenship.

Interested students must qualify and apply for membership in NJHS and are selected by a Faculty Council for meeting the high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character as outlined by the organization.  

Members are required to attend NJHS meetings, to participate in community service, and to model behaviors the exemplify the standards listed above.

All Souls Student Council is the governing organization for the entire student body, consisting of elected representatives and officers from grades 4-8, whose purpose is to provide leadership and service to the school community and many organizations throughout Seminole County.  


 
ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
 
Think outside the box!  Students in grades K-5 are invited to be a part of Odyssey of the Mind, a national competition that revolves around problem-solving and team work.  Parents who are interested in serving as coaches and would like more information are asked to contact Mrs. Geri Freeman, school contact for Odyssey of the Mind, via e-mail at joleebeen@aol.com. Teams and coaches will make their own schedule to meet outside of school and plan for the competition.
 

 
ALTAR SERVERS
 
All Souls Catholic School has Altar Servers that participate in the School Masses as well as Sunday Masses throughout the year.  Students in grades four and higher who are interested in becoming Altar Servers should contact Mrs. MaryLou Fess, Faith Formation Director for the Parish: 407.322.3795.
